Where no news is bad news
Welcome to the Illidan’s Redemption news page. You can bet your epic mount that if a feral druid so much as licks its bum, we won't be out of the loop.
The aim of this page is to work in hand with the forums and help categorise and highlight breaking and developing guild issues as they occur. Links will be made to the forums to point you in the right direction!

Headlines
Rampage through Karazhan continues! 15th August 2007
This week unity pulled down the pants of Attumen, Moroes, Wizard of Copy write and rounded off with a violent administration of wedgee on the Iron Maiden.
Each of these feats was a remarkable development for the raid, which in all essence is still relatively inexperienced Karazhan group. The highlight of the two nights would have to be the destruction of the Opera event which occurred on the second run. Fantastic coordination and preparation meant the raid was able to own this encounter on the first serious attempt!

Moroes is toast! 3rd August 2007
After weeks of going through the ropes with the Moroes fight, Unity finally managed to serve our indulgent host with the ‘wafffer thiin miint’ of destruction!
Moroes picked up the bill on the second and final night of the weeks raiding thanks to:
Tasanala (Raid Leader), Athena, Balthazar, Deckado, Manragon, Norexia, Pembe, Poolboy, Rafa, Vassigo
Congratulations to all involved! You have overcome one of the greatest initial challenges of Karazhan and should be damn proud!

Ding - gratz the bells are gonna chime! 2nd August 2007
Balthazar and Debbs are to be wed in RL and in-game! Smooth operator Balth popped the question in guild chat to Debbs on Monday during a Karazhan raid with Unity, which just goes to show that there is no AFK-in-raid excuse out there that hasn't been done now.
The online ceremony will take place on Saturday 4th August at noon GMT in the SW cathedral. Congratulations to you both! *sniff* I’m gonna cry.
WGC and Allies Defeat Gruul 25th July 2007
After pounding High King Mulgar like a lvl 10 murlock WGC and allies advanced on Gruul with murderous intent. Several wipes later Mulgar escapes punishment at 1% health, undeterred our hero's keep trying... and the beast is downed ! Congratulations to all.
10 More For Dinner 17th - 18th July 2007
Unity gets Moroes to 33%, kills Attumen and Midnight and rounds off a damn impressive début for a rather green Kara team. Who says you stop getting experience at lvl 70! Loads more to build on next week! Well done to all!.
Add-ons Guide Available 18th July 2007
A step by step guide has been provided to help enlighten peeps to the mysteries and plumbing’s of installing and running Add-Ons in WoW. In addition to this, the guild mandatory raiding Add-Ons page is available here.
Unity schedules runs to Karazhan 17th July 2007
Unity kicks off with a little excursion to this much hyped and talked about ancient tower. Expect laughter, mayhem and one hell of an experience as everyone gets their Leeroy Jenkins freak on, details for these raids can be found on the Unity GEM
Return to Molten Core 15th July 2007
As ever the demand to revisit this insufferable fiery hell hole continues as folks line themselves up in a big line between two gnomes with raid symbols above their heads. Sadly Ragnaros escaped his punishment this time round but he sure got a visit from the honourbound crew.
Unity Channel Arrives! 10th July 2007
IR announces its intention to reform the ‘Unity’ GEM channel in place of the old IRguild channel. This opportunity will allow IR and friends to socialize better and continue to get what we want out of the game. They even let Tatonka in I hear! God help us! Details here.
Fladnag vs Karazhan 10th July 2007
Our home-grown talent represents in the form of Fladnag and team pink in the Honourbound channel. The bittersweet learning curve and wipe fests and phat loot has seen them progress steadily through this horrific encounter.
IR steps into BWL 1st July 2007
It would seem that Lord Victor Nefarius has taken great offence to IR beating him to the job at destroying Ragnaros. A few headless scouts have returned to camp on horseback with various vulgar messages attached to their torsos. It’s time for IR to kick some ass again! and Razorgore took the brunt of the assault and could not cope, first boss of BWL perishes to IR.
In other news...
Bears Necessities
Is it me, or is everyone starting up Feral druids? With bosses out there hitting for around 10k these days, people seem to be resorting to bear form to survive these nasty encounters.
I say it’s complete nonsense! Bears are furry and dance for fish. How will fur deflect the searing kiss of a swinging blade?! Ridiculous!
It’s about time we got back to basics people! Grab a shield and wear some armour for crying out loud! Steel has a mass density of 7480 - 8000 kg/cu.m and can easily absorb the energy of an impacting axe! What’s a stinky bear hide going to do but cleave in twain!
And how the hell does druid armour work anyway? They wear leather one second, next thing you know they’re on all fours as a doglike carnivore licking their arses! I mean where’s the armour gone? Are they still wearing it or has it merged into them. Sickening.
Send em all back to Eurasia I say.
Seromontis’ epic rubber duck
Yes it’s true. Even the duck that Seromontis takes to the bath is epic. In fact it’s very hard to find anything in Sero’s life that isn’t epic. In the morning he has epic toast with epic marmalade for breakfast. Then he heads upstairs to play WoW on his epic chair which he won in Ikea on a roll of 42.
Where the fook is Pierce
Search parties have come back empty handed after searching every realm on the European server. Rumours persist however that he is playing a lvl 32 Shaman on a German server somewhere and already has 8k of gold from selling clam meat on the AH.
